Zes is Türkiye's leading EV charging network, operating across 81 provinces with 4,290 charging sockets and a 91.9% user satisfaction rate. The website redesign brought Zes's pioneering position in sustainable mobility to life online, serving four distinct audiences: EV drivers, businesses, fleet operators, and sustainability advocates, through a single coherent web experience.
A market-leading EV charging network that had grown beyond its original digital presence. Zes needed a website that could serve multiple distinct audiences without fragmenting into a confusing navigation structure. The sustainability story at the heart of the Zes brand had no meaningful web presence, and the growing product portfolio (home chargers, fleet solutions, business installations, AutoCharge) was not communicated in a way that helped users self-select the right path.
A fully redesigned web experience with dedicated product paths for each audience, a live vehicle compatibility finder, AutoCharge feature spotlights, Zes Carplay integration pages, and a #ThoseWhoDriveSustainability editorial section. The redesigned site is live, reflecting Zes's position as Türkiye's Sustainable Energy Investment Pioneer.
Zes had built Türkiye's largest EV charging network operating across 81 provinces, with 4,290 charging sockets, a 91.9% user satisfaction rate, and a 20-second average call center connection time. The infrastructure was world-class. The website was not keeping pace.
A portfolio with four distinct audiences. Zes serves EV drivers looking for the nearest charger, businesses wanting to offer charging at their premises, fleet operators managing large-scale vehicle electrification, and sustainability advocates who align with Zes's mission. Each group had different needs, different entry points, and different decision journeys. One generic website could not serve all of them well.
A sustainability story without a stage. Zes had been recognized as a Sustainable Energy Investment Pioneer. The brand's commitment to clean mobility and environmental responsibility was a core part of its identity. But there was no place on the site where this story was told with the depth and craft it deserved.
A growing product suite that users could not navigate. Home chargers, fleet solutions, business installations, AutoCharge, Zes Carplay: each product solved a real problem for a specific user. But without clear segmentation and a vehicle compatibility finder, users had no reliable way to match themselves to the right Zes product.
Zes Website: Designing a Digital Home for Türkiye's Leading EV Charging Network · The ChallengeThe redesign started with information architecture. Before a single screen was designed, we mapped the four audience journeys: what each group knew when they arrived, what they needed to find, and what would give them confidence to act. The navigation structure (Charging Stations, Products, Solutions, Campaigns, Sustainability) was built from these journeys, not from Zes's internal org chart.
Scale communicated with precision. 81 provinces. 4,290 charging sockets. 91.9% satisfaction. 20 seconds to reach a call center agent. These numbers are extraordinary for an EV charging network. The website was redesigned to lead with them, not bury them in a press release. The stats section gives visitors an immediate, credible signal that Zes is the infrastructure partner they can rely on.
Audience segmentation built into the product experience. The Products section divides the Zes offer into For Drivers, For Your Business, For Your Fleets, and For Others. Each path leads to tailored content and the right conversion action. Fleet operators see fleet-specific propositions. Business owners see commercial installation information. Drivers see the charging station locator and mobile app.
Sustainability as a first-class section. The #ThoseWhoDriveSustainability section gives Zes's environmental mission a visual and editorial home. The section carries real stories, real voices, and a connection between EV adoption and broader ecological outcomes. It positions Zes not just as an infrastructure company but as a movement.
Zes Website: Designing a Digital Home for Türkiye's Leading EV Charging Network · The SolutionVehicle Compatibility Finder
"There is a Zes Product for Every EV!" The vehicle finder lets users select their brand and model and immediately see compatible Zes charging options, with power output (AC/DC/HPC), charging time, and AutoCharge eligibility displayed per vehicle. The tool removes the guesswork from matching an EV to the right charger.
AutoCharge
ZES's AutoCharge technology allows vehicles to start charging automatically without an app or card. The "Step into innovative technology" section gives AutoCharge its own moment on the homepage, with a clean product shot and clear benefit communication. It is positioned as a premium, effort-free experience.
Zes Carplay Integration
The Zes mobile app connects with Apple Carplay, letting drivers plan charging routes and reserve chargers directly from their vehicle's infotainment screen. The dedicated website section promotes the integration with App Store and Google Play download links and a dashboard-view hero image.
Products for Every Context
The product suite spans home wall chargers, portable chargers, commercial installations, and standalone public chargers. The "We Develop the Best Products for Our Future" section presents all four categories with clean product imagery and a single CTA to explore the full catalog.
Zes Website: Designing a Digital Home for Türkiye's Leading EV Charging Network · Experience HighlightsA website that serves four distinct audiences requires more upfront research than a single-audience product. The Experience Loop guided the entire process, but the Research and Act phases required particular depth.
Focus: The brief was clear: Zes is Türkiye's leading EV charging network, and the website should communicate that leadership immediately. Every design decision was tested against this north star. If a section did not reinforce scale, credibility, or user confidence, it was cut or restructured.
Research: We mapped the four audience journeys independently before designing any shared structure. EV drivers research charging stops and app features. Fleet managers evaluate coverage, reliability, and commercial terms. Business partners look for installation support and ROI. Sustainability advocates want evidence of genuine environmental commitment. These are four very different research behaviors, and the IA had to serve all of them.
Act: Navigation, homepage hierarchy, product segmentation, and the vehicle finder were all designed and validated before moving to visual design. The "We've been renewed with great energy!" hero communicates rebirth and forward momentum. The EV/PV toggle on the homepage lets visitors orient themselves immediately. The stats section lands before any product content.
Measure: Key metrics include time-to-segment (how quickly a visitor reaches the right audience path), vehicle finder usage, and Sustainability section engagement. The 91.9% satisfaction rate shown on the site reflects the real-world product quality that the design is built to represent online.
Evolve: The modular section structure (hero, stats, product paths, AutoCharge, Carplay, sustainability) allows new sections to be added as Zes's product portfolio grows, without requiring a full redesign. The design system was built for continuity.
