Enjoy eSIM offers instant, contract-free mobile data in over 175 countries. But for many travellers, eSIM was still an unfamiliar concept. The challenge was not just to sell a product. It was to explain a technology, build trust, and make the purchase feel as natural as booking a flight. Blurple was commissioned to design the complete web experience for Enjoy eSIM, covering the homepage, destination browsing, conversion flow, social proof, and app acquisition.
The eSIM market is growing but buyer hesitation remains high. Many travellers are uncertain about compatibility, setup, and reliability. Every page of the website had to do double duty: educating first-time buyers while providing a fast path to purchase for confident ones. The design needed to accommodate both without friction.
A fully live website for Enjoy eSIM that converts browsers into buyers across a global audience. The destination picker, testimonial section, and step-by-step how-it-works flow together form a conversion journey that addresses hesitation at every stage before it becomes a reason not to buy.
eSIM technology solves a real problem. But for most travellers, it is still invisible. A significant portion of Enjoy eSIM's potential buyers arrive with no prior experience of digital SIM cards, uncertain whether their device is compatible, unsure how activation works, and reluctant to discover roaming surprises mid-trip.
Converting the hesitant majority. The website had to serve two distinct visitor types at once: travellers who already know they want an eSIM and are comparing options, and travellers who are still deciding whether eSIM is even right for them. Most websites optimize for one. This one had to work for both.
Trust at every touchpoint. An international travel product carries inherent risk in the buyer's mind. Coverage gaps, activation failures, and hidden costs are the fears that stop people from purchasing. The design had to proactively address each of these at the point where doubt typically forms.
Destination as the entry point. Most travellers do not start with "I want an eSIM." They start with "I'm going to Spain." The website needed to meet them at that question and guide them naturally toward the purchase without making the product feel like an interruption.
Enjoy eSIM Website: Taking Global Connectivity Direct to Travellers · The ChallengeWe structured the website around the traveller's natural starting point: where they are going. The destination becomes the organizing principle of the experience, not the product.
Hero as a search tool. The homepage opens with "Where do you want to go?" rather than a product pitch. This framing immediately positions Enjoy eSIM as a service that exists to solve the traveller's problem, not to be sold to them. The search input, backed by destination imagery including Cappadocia, moves first-time visitors into the product before they have made a conscious purchase decision.
Destination picker with clear value signals. The "Where will your next trip be?" section surfaces popular destinations, each tagged with specific benefits: Free Hotspot and 5G coverage. These are not marketing claims. They are the questions travellers actually ask before buying.
Social proof where doubt lives. The testimonials section is placed at the point in the scroll where a visitor who has absorbed the product pitch is most likely to pause and look for reassurance. Real reviews from App Store users, named and attributed, do the conversion work that no headline can.
A clear path to the app. The download section combines a QR code, App Store link, and Google Play link with a headline that frames the action as entering a world, not installing software. The framing is aspirational, the mechanism is frictionless.
Enjoy eSIM Website: Taking Global Connectivity Direct to Travellers · The SolutionHomepage Hero
Clean split layout: bold headline on the left, app mockup with destination imagery on the right. Country flag badges surface the available markets immediately. The search bar at the bottom of the hero creates a direct action without requiring the visitor to scroll.
Destination Picker
Popular destinations presented as visual cards with landmark photography. Each card carries the country flag, country name, and benefit badges (Free Hotspot, 5G). An "All Destinations" button keeps the experience open-ended for travellers with non-standard itineraries.
Testimonials
Star-rated reviews laid out in a horizontal card format. Customer names and App Store attribution add credibility. The "How Does Enjoy eSIM Work?" section immediately below keeps momentum for visitors who are still researching.
FAQ
An accordion FAQ section addresses the specific concerns that stop travellers from purchasing: cost, compatibility, device support, and roaming charges. Each question is framed from the buyer's perspective, not the product's.
Enjoy eSIM Website: Taking Global Connectivity Direct to Travellers · Experience HighlightsDesigning for an e-commerce product in a category where buyer education is still ongoing required us to treat every section of the website as a conversion layer, not just the product page.
Focus: We defined the primary success condition as a first-time visitor completing a purchase without needing to visit a third-party source for information. All research, reassurance, and discovery had to happen within the site itself.
Research: Competitive analysis of leading global eSIM providers identified where typical flows lose hesitant buyers. Traveller interviews surfaced the core objections: device compatibility, activation complexity, coverage reliability, and refund policy. These became the design brief.
Act: We designed each section to serve a specific stage in the buyer's journey: awareness (hero), consideration (destination picker and benefits), validation (social proof and FAQ), and acquisition (how it works and app download). No section was decorative.
Measure: Prototype walkthroughs with travellers in the target demographic validated that the destination-first framing reduced perceived product complexity. The testimonial placement above the FAQ was specifically tested and confirmed to reduce drop-off at that scroll position.
Evolve: The website was delivered with a component-based design system, enabling the Enjoy eSIM team to extend destination coverage, add new testimonials, and update FAQ content without structural redesign.
